The course is designed as a holistic concept. Profile 1: instrumental studies or voice

The training in profile "instrumental studies or voice" is of central importance for the professional field of the modern musician in Germany. The aim is to develop an autonomous musician personality who encounters the requirements of the musician and music teaching profession with competence and professionalism. The students get the opportunity to understand their instrument or their voice as the key to music and to learn to master it at a professional level. In the tradition of Dr. Hoch's Conservatory, it is justified that great value is placed on the practical training of musicians and music teachers.
The proximity to the later professional field is given by the structure of the offers of the various departments of the institute. This enables the student to get a very precise insight into his professional future. The instrumental and vocal training is placed in a context of pedagogy and musicological analysis.

The aim of the course is to prepare the students for their later professional goals through systematic and comprehensive support. The Conservatory takes the artistic personality seriously by providing the student with both, a highly qualified and broad-based education.
