Creative Dance for Children

The basis for the creative dance for children is the innate imagination. We use this together with the children to develop a small choreography or dance piece. Further elements, such as posture, muscle development, motor skills, balance and co-ordination training, turns, balance, partner work, rhythm are also learnt through play.

Modern Dance for Children

The physical requirements are now present for basic dance techniques and exercises from classical ballet and modern dance styles. The basic elements from creative dance for children are learnt with more structure. The children can experience dance as a medium of expression and representation in improvisation.
