Education and Career:

Study in Vienna (Instrumental Music Pedagogy with Distinction and conductors' course), Amsterdam (soloist examination) and Karlsruhe (Concert examination with distinction), prize-winner in international competitions. Over 25 years of teaching experience, including at Karlsruhe School of Music, over 10 years as a music school director, most recently in Frankfurt am Main.

Other experience:

Concert performances as a soloist and chamber musician. Jury member and jury chair in many competitions. Interpretation and further training courses (also see Hessen School of Music further training programme).

Teaching aims / Methodology:

Performance-oriented teaching at all levels of training in classical piano with a focus on interpretation, tone composition and technique. Repertoire from all periods with a particular focus on the individual tonal language of the composer against the background of the time of composition.

Additional support through performances, class workshops, projects. Also Consultancy, study preparation, competition coaching (prize-winners from her class in competitions: Jugend musiziert/ national, Robert Schumann/ Zwickau, Thürmer / Bochum, Willy-Bissing/ Hanau, Amateur Pianist Competition / Frankfurt, International Children and Youth Competition/ Karlovy-Vary, Czech Republic, Wolfgang Hofmann Competition, Karlsruhe, Büdinger Piano Competition, Annemarie Schlütter Competition, Golden Key, Frankfurt, Mendelssohn Competition, Nuremberg Piano Competition, Rotary Competition, Essen, Vienna Young Pianist Competition); adult teaching, support for the gifted (also for children of pre-school age). Teaching languages: German, Romanian, Dutch, English.
