Education and Career:

Artistic training in Frankfurt (Prof. Peinemann), London (D. Takeno, E. Hurwitz) and Berlin (concert examination Prof. Brandis), scholar of the Study Foundation and the DAAD.

Other activities or ambitions:

Concert performances of chamber music: Mutare Ensemble Frankfurt, founder member of the German Chamber Philharmonic Bremen, jury member (Jugend musiziert).

Teaching aims / Methodology:

• Long-term training of pupils with the option of going on to study to a professional standard.
• Short-term preparation for a School of Music, part-time further training in artistic expression / method.
• My teaching method has been shaped by long years of practice as an orchestral and chamber musician and examination of ways to train the body and movement awareness (violin method by P. Rolland, Alexander technique, Thai Chi, Yoga).
