Creative Dance for Children

The basis for the creative dance for children is the innate imagination.

We use this together with the children to develop a small choreography or dance piece.

Further elements, such as posture, muscle development, motor skills, balance and co-ordination training, turns, balance, partner work, rhythm are also learnt through play.

 

Children from 5 years of age - 1 x  50 min.  per week

 

Mondays: 3.00pm – 3.50pm

Ballet room (4th floor)

 

Creative Dance for Children

Continuation course

 

Children from 6 years of age - 1 x  50 min.  per week

 

Mondays: 3.50pm – 4.40pm

Ballet room (4th floor)

 

Modern Dance for Children

 

The physical requirements are now present for basic dance techniques and exercises from classical ballet and modern dance styles.

The basic elements from creative dance for children are learnt with more structure.

The children can experience dance as a medium of expression and representation in improvisation.

 

Children from 8 years of age - 1 x  50 min.  per week

 

Mondays: 4.40pm – 5.30pm

Ballet room (4th floor)

 

Closing date

Registrations are accepted at any time.

 

Course start

As agreed with the department.

 

Holidays

As per the official school holidays for the State of Hessen.
