Type of course

This department teaches the history of interpretation, based on an examination of historical sources and playing techniques as well as aesthetic presentation of the styles from the  Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque. The subjects cover baroque violin and viola, baroque violoncello, viola da gamba, lute, theorbo, historical wind instruments, cembalo and other historical keyboard instruments, as well as singing.

Specialist advice is provided through the courses by the relevant teacher: Depending on final result
Course start: 1st of April (Summer Semester) / 1st of October (Winter Semester);

Course start: 30th of November (Summer Semester) / 31st of May (Winter Semester)
